"When I began looking for a Realtor to purchase a home in Florida from our existing home in Delaware, my objective was to find any realtor as long as they were situated close to the area of our new home (which was a new construction). Even though I knew Brenda would have little to do since I already had a good idea of where we wanted to relocate - I still devoted a great deal of time looking at the resumes of numerous Realtors since I knew the importance of the role they play from contract signing to closing. And even though I am a retired mortgage loan officer (having dealt with realtors in NY including having sponsored hundreds of open houses as well as participating in hundreds of closings) - finding Brenda had as much to do with "luck" than it did with her "impressive resume, consistent positive reviews, and my experience in knowing what separates a mediocre Realtor from a superior one. However, what I didn't know and did not expect was Brenda became instrumental in the "sale" of our Delaware home as well by acting on our behalf while keeping the builder of our home in check in ways we did not expect. When we began to realize we may not be able to sell our home prior to the purchase closing (which would have been a financial disaster for us - Brenda's ability to talk the builder in allowing us additional time (well beyond the date required to close on the purchase) - was not only above and beyond her normal responsibilities as a Realtor - but saved us from having to apply for an unnecessary expensive mortgage which would have eventually caused us a financial crisis. Her consistent guidance and encouragement over a period of 8 months was both heartwarming as well as priceless, In your search for a Realtor, you are going to have to try to decide which one will be right for you. And when you read the "reviews", I doubt you will read anything other than "positive reviews". And because of that, It is not going to be easy to make the right choice. And under those conditions to be able to find the right one ... will require "luck". I advise you ... "Don't rely on luck to find your Realtor, rely on Brenda Bolton. She is the :real deal."
